Always on the creative grind...

Barely in her 20s, Sharna Bass works with a ruthless sense of optimism.

Every obstacle is an opportunity in her world, with her refreshing ambition fusing soul, R&B, hip-hop, and the varied strands of UK rap.

Recently sparring with Clean Bandit on their smash hit single 'Extraordinary', Sharna's own work is surging into its own zone.

The NW London newcomer flew out to Los Angeles to follow her dream, taking part in sessions and unlocking the pop machine.

While there she laid down this emphatic freestyle, 90 seconds of blistering bars recorded live and direct.

With some instantly recognisable landmarks in the background, this new freestyle is a true statement of intent from the London artist.

She comments: "This freestyle is based around me grinding until I'm successful and standing in front of the iconic Capitol tower in LA inspired me even more!"
