Bringing hip hop to the supermarket...
Kevin Abstract

There's a subversive side, a knowing, intelligent sense of humour which runs through Kevin Abstract.

Frontman and creator of alternative hip-hop collective AliveSinceForever, the rapper cut his teeth supporting the likes of Chance The Rapper and Big KRIT.

Absorbing some cutting edge ideas, the MC was able to allow his personality to blossom. Full length 'MTV1987' will be released on July 15th, with lead cut 'Drugs' already gaining huge attention.

Riding atop some deft production from ASF member Romil, Kevin Abstract spins a tale of drug use gone wrong - but keeping his wry sense of humour in the process.

In keeping with this, the rapper (and a few cohorts) decided to invade a supermarket for their latest video. Intoning 'Drugs' in deadpan fashion, the scene takes hold of a deserted aisle, with Kevin Abstract - ever the extravert - performing straight into the camera.
