Shades of David Lynch permeate her alt-pop...

Catalan alt-pop auteur Odina has shared the vivid video for her new single 'Heartache'.

Now based in London, the Catalan songwriter is a force to be reckoned with, someone who is working defiantly in her own lane.

Debut album 'What I Never Told You' lands on August 21st, following sessions in, respectively, Sjømannskirken (a Norwegian church in London), a box-size bedroom and her parents' basement.

The work of someone who is in total control of her art, the record is presaged by bold new single 'Heartache'.

A painful depiction of a break up, it's ruthlessly honest, and comes equipped with a haunting yet incredibly well stylised video.

Odina says: "I wrote ‘Heartache’ after going through a breakup. At the time there was just a lot pouring out of me, I think it took 30 minutes to write - it was just one of those songs that felt like it wrote itself."
