Before he takes to the stage at The Clash Winter Party at the Arch Gallery next Thursday, West London vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Léks Rivers releases a harrowing video to accompany his new single 'No Rest For The Wicked'.
The Rick Stanton-directed visual matches the drama delivered through Léks vocals. as the 23-year-old digs a grave for himself, symbolic of the rebirth he's undergoiung as he grows into manhood.
"The 'No Rest For The Wicked' video's dark vibe is to symbolise the struggle and effort it can take to truly get to where you want to be," explains Leks in an email to Clash. "The grave digging scenes depicts the grunt work that you must endure to move onwards and upwards. Red is for danger, and black for solitude - and solitude is one of my closest allies..."
