Kirin J Callinan has already built a reputation in his native Australia for producing engrossing, confrontational visual arts. Refusing to pull his punches, the songwriter recently picked up a triple j award for his 'War II War' clip.
Now Callinan is ready to make his next move. 'Embracism' is a dark, demented piece of electronics, something with a real blackness in its soul.
One step beyond the sins of Depeche Mode's classic track 'Violator' this is a depraved yet bizarrely catchy move from the producer. Alongside this, Kirin J Callinan has produced a new clip.
Opening with stark, realist shots of the Australian artist in the shower, it then flips into a dark dream world before exploding into distorted tape effects and static.
Watch it now.
