Featuring four incarnations of the Scottish riser...

Kerri Watt has a talent that cannot be denied.

The Scottish riser impresses all who cross her path, with her simple, affecting, and literate work expressing blunt truths about her life.

New single 'Chasing Aeroplanes' takes the songwriter out of her comfort zone, with Kerri Watt working alongside rock producer Machine.

It's a curious juxtaposition, one that allows her songwriting to occupy a fresh space.

"When I first heard that Machine might be interested in doing the record, I was pretty excited to be honest," she says. "I loved the idea of joining forces with someone from a totally different genre to bring something unique to the sound. Machine and I spoke at length about the sound of the album, influences, bands/playlists/moods we liked and found we had a lot in common."

Written and recorded out in Austin, 'Chasing Aeroplanes' is a stellar return from the highly talented newcomer. She explains:

"'Chasing Aeroplanes' is a stream of consciousness about my future and a conversation I’ve had with many girl friends about having kids, and the next stage of life..."

"Do I have to have everything figured out first? What about my independence, my career? I’m sure I want to have a family one day, but until then I’m loving being young and free."

We're able to share the stylish, slightly retro clip, featuring four Kerri's - a full band, crafted from different incarnations.
