London based songwriter Blake has a deeply personal touch to her music.
Recent EP 'Home Truth' is out now, this potent vision of meaningful pop with subtle soul and jazz influences.
A bold introduction, it underlined the strength of her artistry, fusing those distinct influences into a deft whole.
Constantly moving forwards, Blake will play a special London show this week, hitting O2 Islington Academy 2 on November 29th.
Running alongside this, the songwriter has helped craft a moving, beautifully shot video for 'Blow All Our Money'.
Prompted by the suffering of a close friend, the lyrics are a powerful insight into mental health, with the video picking up on these themes.
Blake explains: "I wrote this song a long time ago and I felt compelled to bring my vision for this video to life."
"The guy who I wrote this song about (Dillon) is no longer with us due to taking his own life and I felt like he deserved to have this made. I feel like his story mirrors how many of us feel in our day to day at times, always wanting to portray the best versions of ourselves even when we're not always OK."
