Riccardo Tisci x Beats By Dre?

The designer's birthday bash fuels collaboration rumours.

A Kardashian, a couple of Jenner’s and a Bieber; Givenchy’s creative director this weekend celebrated turning 40 with both default gossip page hoarders and faces of the fashion variety, amongst them the stylists Edward Enninful and Katy England, and models Mariacarla Boscono and Naomi Campbell.

Celebrating in Ibiza (naturally, it is the summer hols after all), Ricardo Tisci’s party not only claimed attention for those that flocked – or the ‘Black Subversive Glamour’ dress code – but the collaborative rumours it has since fuelled.

Held with Beats by Dre (in turn sparking the semi-confusing – for retweet savvy fans – hashtag #RTBEATS40), DJ’s Josh Quinton and Andy Bradin used said headphones during the event, while Tisci was later presented with 24ct gold Pro headphones by Campbell, who donned the headphones herself just a few weeks ago with the close of the World Cup.

All this and a customised photobooth – featuring the aforementioned hashtag – meant odds are high for Riccardo to follow in the footsteps of Alexander Wang and Fendi by partnering the brand.

“They made the celebration unique and memorable,” the designer has since said of the hook up. “Music is at the core of my creativity, so it was only natural for me to have Beats by Dr. Dre involved.”

First stop Nike, second stop Beats, then?
