George Cox Collaborate With Red or Dead

Brands pair up for three new shoe styles.

Before the creeper became the go to shoe of Tumblr queens and new age Camden punks, it was the everyday of staple of Teddy Boys the land over. Produced by George Cox-who began making shoes as early as 1906-the style of course went on to cover the feet of The Clash and The Sex Pistols, following its re-discovery by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McClaren in the late 70’s.

Today the brand has again picked up the pace with a new collaboration with Red or Dead. Extremely limited edition-there’s only three styles and only 24 made of each-the range will be available from Schuh Oxford Street and schuh.co.uk, only.

Pictured above is the Tassel Loafer ‘A Subculture Staple’, with it’s natural crepe sole and premium British oxblood leather exterior, the shoe ticks many animportant box. The remaining styles go by the name’s Ghillie Creeper (a simplified style) and the Desert Chukkz (a subversive classic); you have until April to pick one.
