Clash is kicking off its live programme for 2009 with a truly astounding bill at our Saturday Social @ RoTa event this weekend – frankly you’d be a mug to miss it.
Playing live – for free – at the Notting Hill Arts Club on Saturday January 31 we have Brontide, The Invisible (pictured) and Three Trapped Tigers. With plenty of industry buzz surrounding these breaking-through acts – The Guardian is on record as saying The Invisible’s ‘London Girl’ track is the year’s best single, already, while Three Trapped Tigers have been all over Clash lately – chances are you won’t get to see them in such an intimate environment, let alone for zero door tax, sooner rather than later. Bigger things are expected, no doubt about that. Be there at 4pm when doors open so as not to miss out.
Following that, on February 11, we’ve our first Clash Live event of 2009 at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen. Playing live are Twisted Wheel, Hatcham Social and La Shark. Doors open at 8pm, and entry’s a fiver in advance/four pounds NUS. Early worms will catch some tasty Clash goodies, too. Get advance tickets HERE.
And we’re not finished there, oh no sirs. Come February 28 we’ll be back at the Notting Hill Arts Club, gatecrashing the weekly RoTa afternoon once more, with a bill topped by the beyond-excellent Micachu. Entry is again free, with the club open from 4pm ‘til 8pm.
