Ride – This Is Not A Safe Place

From shoegaze-tinged jangle-pop to dreamy indie, Ride are looking towards the horizon...

Continuing with what made 'Weather Diaries' so invigorating, Ride still show no sign of basking in past glories.

From the shoegaze-tinged jangle-pop of 'Future Love', to the dreamy indie of 'Clouds of Saint Marie', Ride sound incredibly fresh-faced.

With the juxtaposing 'Kill Switch' adding a touch of hornet's nest menace – while the likes of 'Eternal Recurrence' and 'Jump Jet' boost the album's scope – 'This Is Not A Safe Place' closes on one of Ride's most flooring and exquisite tracks to date, with 'In This Room'.

Looking towards the horizon, Ride exist in the here and now…and are all the better for it.
