'Be Mine'

Tusks is on the move.

The work of London based artist Emily Underhill, her rapturously creative debut album rightly received overwhelming acclaim.

Now she's ready for her new step. New album 'Avalanche' lands on June 14th, with Tusks citing the influence of “My Bloody Valentine, Foals, Marika Hackman, Wolf Alice and a lot of female-led grungy guitar music...”

It's a bold move, matching her otherworldly pop ideas to dreamy guitars, pushing herself effortlessly into a fresh space.

New single 'Be Mine' details this transition, and it's about those initial steps in a relationship, when mutual attraction is also set against mutual uncertainty.

She explains: “It comes from being in that initial stage of a relationship when you're not sure what the other person is feeling and you're excited but also nervous and I guess feeling a bit vulnerable all in one.”
