Syra has the world at her feet.

The Paris based vocalist and songwriter matches neo-soul flair to street level grit, ushering in something personal, and highly distinctive.

Her incoming debut EP 'Pill' - out on November 26th - represents a star in ascendence, fusing the poignant ache of Frank Ocean, say, with ultra-personal lyricism.

The project launches with new single 'Wine', and it seems to envelope you from the off; sharp-edged and defined, her soulful world-building is at times almost overwhelming.

As she puts it: “I want these songs to feel like a pill... You close your eyes and go somewhere magical for three minutes.”

Parisian producers Monomite and Loubenski work on the beat, while UK rapper BackRoad Gee is on hand for some neck-snapping guest bars.

“I like to switch it up, always,” Syra adds. “I guess it’s easier for people to relate to your music when you show your weaknesses. I deliberately write my music loosely so that anyone can tap into the emotion.”

Tune in now.
