Tim Hecker Announces New Album ‘Love Streams’

Informed by "transcendental voice in the age of auto-tune..."

Tim Hecker will release new album 'Love Streams' on April 8th.

The album is the producer's first since 'Virgins' in 2013, and his first for new home 4AD. Out on April 8th, the album is seemingly informed by "liturgical aesthetics after Yeezus," and the "transcendental voice in the age of auto-tune."

As for the title itself, 'Love Streams' can be interpreted in any number of ways, with Tim Hecker himself labelling it "a riff on the ubiquity and nihilism of streaming of all forms of life."
