Theon Cross
It features both Nubya Garcia and Moses Boyd...

South London jazz artist Theon Cross has shared excellent new group cut 'Panda Village'.

The brass instrumentalist is continually at the cutting edge, whether that's his work as a collaborator with Kano, or as a group leader.

Planning a host of new releases, new cut 'Panda Village' is his first solo endeavour since 2015.

A righteous return, it sluices together elements of club culture with hard-hitting jazz soloing, utilising the twin talents of percussionist Moses Boyd and saxophonist Nubya Garcia.

Out now on Gearbox Records, 'Panda Village' is a fine, fascinating return from one of the true stalwarts of London's jazz scene.

Tune in now.
