Sigur Ros

Let's face it: Sigur Ros and 'Game Of Thrones' are an easy fit.

The band have even admitted to being massive fans, with the makers of the American television show casting the Icelandic musicians in a forthcoming episode.

Now Sigur Ros are set to go one better. As Consequence of Sound report, the band are to record a version of 'The Rains of Castamere' - a piece of music traditionally used right before something terrible happens...

The Icelandic group confirmed the news via an Instagram picture with 'Game Of Thrones' creator George R.R. Martin.
