A remarkably intense delve into the supernatural...

Sabiyha seems able to tap into spirits not quite of this earth.

Blessed with a remarkable voice, her intense stage manner conjures up elemental forces, both strikingly new and utterly ancient.

With a new EP incoming Sabiyha is ready to unveil lead cut 'Wolf', a song that delves into folklore while retaining a deeply personal core.

Prompted by a spell supporting her parents, 'Wolf' deals with matters of transformation, the different phases of our life.

She explains...

"The song tells the story of a young female wolf and the moon. The moon falls from the sky and the wolf is left in darkness, losing her pack and being forced to survive the dark by herself. The stars ask the wolf to help find the moon, and in return they offer her the howl of a thousand wolves."

"The wolf sets off following the scent of the moon and the sound of its lullaby, eventually finding the moon stuck under a frozen lake. With the howl of a thousand wolves she breaks the ice and sets the moon free, returning to her pack who once called her child."

Set against a folk-fuelled backing, Sabiyha's vocal yelps soar up into the sky, a performance that literally tears out of your speakers.

Tune in now.
