London vocalist Rationale has shared his powerful new EP 'High Hopes'.
The soulful songwriter released his sterling debut album last Autumn, but he's far from finished creating new work.
New EP 'High Hopes' is out now, and the five track release has been gradually unveiled over the past few weeks.
An intriguing, often extremely subtle return, the EP contains a few of his "proudest moments".
Beautifully sculpted, the release is capped by the title song itself, a "classic love song" that actually addresses his ongoing infatuation with music.
"'High Hopes' is one of my proudest moments on this EP," explains Rationale. "On the surface it could lyrically be seen as a classic love song referencing, isolation, hope and pain. However I didn’t write the lyrics as an address to another person but instead, my relationship with music, my career and my creative process at the time."
Tune in now.
