The Vryll Society are part of a renewed spirit in Liverpool, a creative confidence that is producing a slew of new groups.
Signed to rejuvenated imprint Deltasonic, the band's new cut 'La Jetee' is a quite ludicrously addictive piece of psych-addled guitar pop.
The title references Chris Marker’s 1962 post-apocalyptic vision of Paris, and there's a cinematic sheen to the group's work.
From the ethereal vocals to those gossamer Verve-esque guitar lines, the Neu! type rhythms and that pulsating bass, 'La Jetee' is a heady chemical brew.
Out now, you can check out 'La Jetee' below.
