Nostalgia-laden dream pop...
Plastic Flowers

Plastic Flowers is a dream pop project based in London's North West.

Formed in late 2011 by multi-instrumentalist George Samaras, the project has released one acclaim album, matching the slow, steady pace of Galaxie 500 to My Bloody Valentine-inspired guitar.

New record 'Heavenly' arrives on April 22nd (pre-order LINK), with Clash able to premiere lead cut 'Diver'. It's a blissful return, the aching nostalgia wrapped in a nagging riff that powers its way into your sub-conscious.

George Samaras explains: "'Diver' was written on a Sunday morning in early December after a bad hangover. My head was still spinning and I couldn't think or feel. My flatmate was still asleep in his room so I had to keep it quiet."

"It is about a girl that was obsessed with me back then and wouldn't stop texting or calling, although it was over between us. I ended up thinking about old relationships and stuff, so the song is a little nostalgic. I felt disgusted and started playing guitar - came up with this MBV riff and that is how 'Diver' was born."
