Dreamy west coast yacht pop with a psychedelic feel...
OAKLND

Multi-instrumentalist OAKLND went on the road with a Scottish group, able to see the world as the tour van whizzed past.

Stopping on the American west coast, the songwriter immediately fell under the intoxicating spell of that hazy, faded Hollywood glamour.

Sparking a wave of fresh ideas, OAKLND began to take shape there and then, out on the road as the American deserts rushed past.

Fusing chillwave with R&B, each song feels like an introverted journey through the west coast, the sound of an outsider looking in.

New track 'Hold On' airs on Clash, and it's a breezy piece of yacht pop, a bleached out neo-psychedelic gem.
