Rising Welsh artist Greta Isaac can only be herself.
Releasing two tracks in 2016, her stark fusion of pop melodies and left-field musicality made for an intriguing fusion.
New cut 'You' raises expectations still further. Both contagious and perplexing in equal measure, it's a short, sharp burst of fresh ideas.
Clash is able to premiere the visuals, and it's cut 'n' paste routine neatly echoes the music itself. Greta explains:
"'You' is an exploration into obsession and infatuation… The character is infatuated with another person to such an extreme that she abandons her own identity to embody the other person. She quite literally wants to BECOME them. It’s about how a simple little obsession can develop into something destructively extreme."
