Gary Numan

Tweaker has stepped in to remix Gary Numan - check out the results on Clash.

Gary Numan's re-invention continues. Rightly lauded for his pioneering take on electro pop, the singer's career largely tailed off as the 90s drew close.

Deciding to go independent, Gary Numan plunged headlong into an intense, Industrial godhead role - and never looked back. Continuing to experiment, the English songwriter recently completed work on his eagerly awaited new album.

'Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)' is out now via Mortal Records, and represents another continually challenging instalment of Gary Numan's discography.

His first entirely self-penned album since 2006, it finds the synth-pop legend on firm ground: the production carries a punch, while the lyrics are meditative, introspective and forever forward facing.

Tweaker stepped in to remix album highlight 'Love Hurt Bleed' and it's a formidable re-working. Edging towards the techno side of the industrial pantheon, you can listen to it first on Clash.
