It lands on June 7th...

Plaid will release new album 'Polymer' on June 7th.

The duo - Ed Handley and Andy Turner - initially diverged from techno three-piece The Black Dog in the early 90s, and have gone on to develop their own stellar catalogue.

New album 'Polymer' lands on June 7th, the pair's tenth album and one informed by our disconnection from the world around us.

The group introduce the album by saying... "The problems and benefits of Polymers felt like good themes for this album, their repetitious strength, endurance and troubling persistence, the natural versus the synthetic, silk and silicone, the significant effect they have on our lives."

Two new songs 'Maru' and 'Recall' are online now - tune in below.

Catch Plaid at the following shows:

June
20 London Earth Theatre, Hackney
22 Manchester The Deaf Institute
