Phoebe Bridgers will launch her own label in partnership with Dead Oceans.
The songwriter's new album 'Punisher' bowled over critics, and has been followed by some stellar television spots.
Set to rank highly in those pesky End Of Year polls, the record will be followed by a fresh project from the American artist.
New label Saddest Factory has been inaugurated, and the freshly minted venture finds Phoebe Bridgers working in cooperation with Dead Oceans.
Her mission statement is simple: “The vision of the label is simple: good songs, regardless of genre.”
Dead Oceans are - perhaps wisely - stepping back and letting Phoebe handle it.
