Peter Hook is set to release a new tome on his time in New Order later this year.
The bass player has released two previous books - Substance: Inside Joy Division and Hacienda: How Not To Run A Club - and will now turn his attention to the New Order tale.
Formed from the ashes of Joy Division, the band went on to enjoy enormous success, with their seminal cut 'Blue Monday' becoming the UK's all-time best-selling 12 inch single.
Substance: Inside New Order is billed as a "no-holds-barred" account of the band's career, from their opening weeks to their recent legal issues.
Peter Hook left the band in 2007, and recently sued New Order for £2.3 million in unpaid royalties.
Substance: Inside New Order will be published in Hardback by Simon & Schuster UK on October 6th. Pre-order LINK.
