Noel Gallagher isn't used to losing a war of words.
Duelling with anyone who comes across his path, his decades old spat with younger brother Liam has been the source of international headlines.
But it seems like Noel may just have bitten off more than he can chew.
Slating Lewis Capaldi while being interviewed by Radio X, the Scottish songwriter immediately lit up social media with his response.
Cheering Noel's dismissal of his music, the first round very definitely went Capaldi's way.
Now Noel has hit back. Posting a video of his 11 year old son being distressed by the Scottish artist's music, he urged him to "find some joy in your tunes, you're destroying the youth..."
Or more simply: "You big daftie!"
.@LewisCapaldi you big daftie.
