In time for the album's 30th birthday...

Neneh Cherry will re-issue her album 'Raw Like Sushi' early next year.

The record was released in the summer of 1989, an album informed by squat culture, hip-hop, elements of post-punk, and more.

An extraordinary pop document, it brought left field elements into the mainstream, gatecrashing the charts in the process.

To celebrate this era-defining record 'Raw Like Sushi' has been remastered at Abbey Road, and will be released in super deluxe format across 3CD and 3LP heavyweight vinyl box sets, as well as in special edition alternative gold vinyl and digital formats, and 1CD and 1LP formats.

In addition to this, a limited edition gold 1P, plus signed prints with the first 500 pre-orders of 3CD and 3LP formats, are available exclusively via uDiscover, Sound of Vinyl and recordstore.co.uk.

Out on January 31st, the re-issue is led by the 1989 Kevin Saunderson remix of ‘Buffalo Stance’.
