A blistering rock return prompted by the ongoing refugee crisis...
Tom Williams

Tom Williams has shared blistering new track 'Everyone Needs A Home'.

The respected songwriter went back into the studio last year, focussing on new material and a potential new direction.

Now operating without his titular boat, Tom Williams has just shared new track 'Everyone Needs A Home'.

Prompted by the ongoing refugee crisis, the slashing guitars are set against vocals that plead for a bit of peace and understanding.

Tom explains: “The full horror of the refugee crisis was fully unfolded on all our screens. Friends of mine who run the charity, 'The Worldwide Tribe' were in 'The Jungle' handing out food, clothing and supplies. We were moving house ourselves and I was in a back room surrounded by boxes piled high all around me. The words are simultaneously aggressive but also defeatist. The song is plea for more, 'We' and less, 'Me'.”
