Norwegian punx Sløtface have shared new melter 'Backyard'.
The group's debut album is incoming, and - since it's Friday - they've decided to give fans a party-starting treat.
Opening with choppy percussion and crunching guitar strings 'Backyard' is a fizzing firework of punk energy and pop melodies, a joyous, exuberant slice of Norwegian bedlam.
Singer Haley says: "The song is about celebrating the Adventures you had as a kid that often came from a desperate need to not be bored anymore and to respect the effects of boredom. It's about trying to capture a sense of that wonder and fun in a new way as you grow up."
Largely recorded in one take - the cello was added later - it's a three minute, done and dusted, rama-lama punk anthem with a dash of sugar on top.
Tune in now.
Sløtface will release new album 'Try Not To Freak Out' on September 15th.
