'Life Round Here' gets re-worked...
James Blake

James Blake has teamed up with Chance The Rapper to re-work 'Life Round Here'.

On the surface, James Blake's fragile electronics would seem to have little in common with rap. Yet the hip hop world has embraced the producer, with Jay Z and Kanye West inviting Blake into the studio.

Wu-Tang legend RZA appears on the English artist's second album 'Overgrown' (Clash review HERE), while numerous unofficial bootlegs have fuses his post-dubstep sound with cutting edge hip hop.

Deciding to re-work album cut 'Life Round Here', James Blake invited Chance The Rapper into the studio. Musically, it's similar to the original rendition but the perfect flow of Chance drives the song into a different direction entirely.

Premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night (September 17th) you can stream the new version HERE via Noisey.
