Intimate acoustic recording...
'Everyday Robots'

Damon Albarn is ready to work under his own name.

The songwriter stepped into the studio last year, working on new material with XL boss Richard Russell. The results are due this Spring, with new album 'Everyday Robots' set to drop on April 28th.

Stopping past Dermot O'Leary's Radio 2 show, Damon Albarn recorded two intimate songs. One was a version of Terry Jacks' 1974 hit 'Seasons In The Sun', adding a melancholic touch to this evergreen classic.

The Blur artist also recorded a version of 'Lonely, Press Play'. An extremely modern tale of heartbreak, the intimate recording finds Damon Albarn accompanied by a gently plucked acoustic guitar.
