A lavish re-issue is planned for The Beatles' psychedelic opus 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
The album was released in 1967 and changed the shape of pop culture forever, ushering in a psychedelic era that utilised the studio as an instrument in its own right.
One of the first concept albums, 'Sgt. Pepper's...' broke all records before it, becoming one of The Beatles' defining documents.
The album will be given an expansive re-issue for its 50th birthday, available on single CD, deluxe CD, deluxe vinyl, and the super deluxe editions.
The super deluxe editions boasts six CDs, including two unreleased full takes of 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and a 1992 documentary The Making of Sgt. Pepper.
The project was overseen by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell, working with the team at Abbey Road studios.
