La La Land Soundtrack Dominates Stateside Vinyl Charts

It's the best-selling vinyl release of 2017 (so far...)

The La La Land soundtrack has emerged as the best-selling vinyl release in the United States so far this year.

The acclaimed musical was a box office smash, with fans commenting on the strength of the soundtrack.

A homage to the jazz era, the La La Land score featured a stand out guest spot from John Legend, while stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling also featured prominently.

Neilsen Music have produced their results for the top-selling vinyl records of 2017 so far, with La La Land out in front.

Bob Marley's 'Legend' sits in second place, followed by Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' and Ed Sheeran's latest opus.

Run The Jewels take fifth spot with 'RTJ3' while Ryan Adams' heartbroken return 'Prisoner' is in eighth place.
