Rising talent Khushi has shared new track 'Hard To Find' - tune in now.
The musician is part of Strong Asian Mothers, but also pursues solo endeavours when he feels it is necessary.
Strong Asian Mothers play London's Oslo venue tomorrow night (November 30th), and ahead of that Khushi has shared something new.
'Hard To Find' began as a solo project, before finding its way into the Strong Asian Mothers universe.
Seizing it as his own once more, Khushi has now recorded his own, drastically re-worked, version and it's a lucid electro jammer.
Downbeat R&B influences are fused alongside electronic production, with that sighing vocal purring out those sensual lyrics.
He explains: "'Hard To Find' has been on a long journey - starting out as a song with numerous versions for my solo project, migrating to become a Strong Asian Mother song and now coming full circle back to solo status with this version."
"A song can have so many different possibilities and it sometimes feels like a shame to show only one face of it. I wanted to make this version to show a darker, more understated and more sensual side of the song. I'm really happy with how it turned out, it was one of those all too rare occasions where everything fell in to place very naturally..."
Tune in now.
