The ongoing whirlwind that is Kanye West produced two new songs at the weekend.
It's been an astonishing seven days for the rapper, whose seeming support of Donald Trump caused a social media meltdown.
Focussing on the music, new songs 'Lift Yourself' and 'Ye vs. The People' seem to find Yeezy returning to his old habit of sampling soul tracks in their entirety.
It's not quite a return to the old Kanye, however, with plenty of studio trickery and forward-facing moves to contend with.
'Ye vs. The People' is particularly relevant, with the rapper locking horns with T.I. - who plays "the people" - over his support of Trump.
Yeezy raps "I know Obama was heaven-sent / But ever since Trump won, it proved that I could be president" before discussing his Make America Great Again cap: "I took it, wore it, rocked it, gave it a new direction / Added empathy, care, love and affection / And y’all simply questioning my methods..."
