Kaiser Chiefs will release new album 'Duck' on July 26th.
The band's previous album 'Stay Together' landed in 2016, and was marked by their fusion of indie songwriting and glossy pop.
Followed by some massive shows, the Leeds band worked alongside producer Ben H. Allen on the follow up.
Frontman Ricky Wilson comments:
“It came quickly. It’s a vibe. It’s about the internet and frustration with the internet, about how it rules our lives but we don’t really understand what it is and how we just click accept.” Bass player Simon Rix adds: “We wanted to do something that had a Kaiser Chiefs DNA but still try and do something different. It has the right spirit.”
Recorded last year at studios in England and Wales, 'Duck' is led by bolshy new single 'Duck' - tune in now.
'Duck' will be released on July 26th. Catch Kaiser Chiefs at a huge hometown show at Leeds' Elland Road Stadium on June 8th.
