Jungle To Steer New Back To Mine Compilation

Including a brand new song...

Jungle will chair a new Back To Mine compilation.

The project have released two sizzling albums, fusing dancefloor flavours with their inimitable brand of funk-pop.

The band – led by Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland – will steer a new Back To Mine mix, which is set to land on October 18th.

The series is backed on an after-hours theme, and it allows the curators free rein to bring in any form of music they like.

Grasping this concept, Jungle have sluiced together psychedelia, afrobeat, house, and more, while adding a brand new song – "have fun and enjoy" they say…

"When asked what genre of music we like or create we always answer explaining that we try to not hear music in genre but more in sonic and emotion, and if it feels good then it is good," the group say in a statement.

"By that merit, we have conjured a list of far-reaching tracks and brought them together to sit harmoniously on this Back To Mine mix. Put together mostly in the confines of our London based garden studio, where many a late night gathering has taken place, the mix makes it way through psych, Afro-beat, house and soul with some of our favourite tracks of the moment."

"Have fun and enjoy."
