Jorja Chalmers is set to release new album 'Midnight Train' on May 28th.
The Australian born saxophonist is a key part of Roxy Music's touring ensemble, playing dates around the world with prime lounge lizard Bryan Ferry.
Her 2019 debut album was a startlingly fresh introduce, a series of icy electronic jams moulded into chilled dark-pop jewels.
New album 'Midnight Train' is out on May 28th, and it finds Jorja finessing her art, working from her home studio in Margate.
Released via Italians Do It Better, new single 'Bring Me Down' is online now - the album's opening track, it comes complete with a "performance art" clip that channels the influence of David Lynch.
She says: "It’s about the fragility of the perfect housewife. It’s basically about a woman that’s trying to be everything, and is cracking psychologically. It’s got a very haunting melody. There’s something there that’s a little bit beautiful and disturbing about it."
Watch it below.
'Midnight Train' will be released on May 28th.
