Holly Humberstone’s ‘Drop Dead’ Depicts A Sudden Shock

Her bold new EP 'Falling Asleep At The Wheel' is out now...

Holly Humberstone has shared her new video 'Drop Dead'.

The pop riser is fuelled by a thirst for poetry and an urge towards melodic expression, something she grapples with on her new EP.

Out now, 'Falling Asleep At The Wheel' was constructed alongside producer Rob Milton, and it's a stunningly assured document.

Finessing her pop sound while grappling with lyrical breadth, the EP landed a few hours ago, alongside a fresh video.

Stripped from the EP, 'Drop Dead' is about dealing with a sudden shock, and it comes equipped with some fiery visuals.

Holly says…

"I wanted the video concept to echo that feeling of something making you want to drop dead… when the rug is pulled from underneath you and you're falling. I kept thinking about my failed driving tests and how awful they made me feel, so I decided to cover my Dad’s car in learner plates and burn it down. My way of saying up yours to the driving tests.”
