On this newly unearthed tape...
David Bowie

A new tape has been posted online featuring David Bowie impersonating Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed and more.

The recording took place London's Westside Studios back in 1985, when Bowie was contributing to Julian Temple's version of Absolute Beginners.

Taking time out in the studio, Bowie began goofing around - reeling off musical impersonations that covered everyone from Springsteen to Iggy Pop, Lou Reed to Neil Young.

The recording was held by producer Mark Saunders, with the tape then finding its way to the father of Zach Staggers of the So So Glos.

Check it out now.
