For possession of a bladed article...

Headie One has been sentenced to six months in prison, it has been confirmed.

The UK rapper was arrested last summer by London police, and charged with possession of a bladed article.

Bailed in time for a high profile slot at Wireless, Headie One later appeared on Stormzy's No. 1 album 'Heavy Is The Head'.

The rapper was asked to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday - January 3rd - and was handed a six month sentence.

The Fader confirms the news, with Headie One - real name Irving Adjei - yet to issue a statement.
