Hand Habits
It's the title track of their new album...

Los Angeles based songwriter Hand Habits has shared pensive new incantation 'placeholder'.

The songwriter - real name Meg Duffy - came of age in upstate New York, continually using music as a means to process thoughts and emotions.

Hitting up Kevin Morby, Meg toured as a member of his band before deciding to focus on solo material.

Linking with Saddle Creek, new album 'placeholder' will be released on March 1st and the title track is online now.

Unfurling at its own pace, Hand Habits' unhurried, highly patient songwriting carrying a sting in the tail:

"Oh but now you are just a placeholder/ Blinded by desire/ Oh now you're just a placeholder for someone wasting time."

Tune in now.
