Guns N Roses Adler Plea

Drummer Wants To Re-Join Band

Former Guns ‘N’ Roses sticksman Steven Adler has indicated his desire to rejoin the band – as part of a plea bargain after being caught in possession of heroin.

The drummer was a member of the group at their ‘Appetite For Destruction’ peak, but was sacked in 1990 due to drug problems. Adler was caught with heroin in Los Angeles recently, and at a court hearing the drummer intimated his desire to rejoin the group.

Adler’s lawyer claimed that “when he gets sober they’ll accept him into the band and then they’ll do a comeback album and a world tour – that’s the dream of Steven Adler.”

Adler is due to return to the Los Angeles court on December 12th to discover if his attempts to avoid a jail term have been successful. The drummer was recently arrested in Los Angeles after causing a disturbance. Following a police search he was arrested due to possession of heroin.

There has been no comment from Axl Rose.
