GLOWIE

21 year old Icelandic native Glowie was born and raised in Reykjavik. Amidst the ethereal dream weavers and local trap artists Glowie has carved out a deliciously dark and sensual R&B-leaning pop style of her own.

Like many of us, Glowie grew up with an uncertainty about herself of how she looked. Channeling that into her art as a cathartic release and affirnation of her own identity.

Now relocated to London, her debut release 'Body' on Columbia Records celebrates body positivity and beauty in all its forms. A break out anthem, penned by Julia Michaels that has been a constant on the Clash stereo,

The video features a diverse plethora of dancers handpicked by Glowie and makes for a captivating watch.

PLANET GIZA

Planet Giza is a three-pronged attack from Montreal.

A multi-lingual port city, the Canadian outpost is a redoubt for underground culture, and this trio represent a bold new voice.

Having previously worked with Kaytranada the three-piece released their new EP 'ZZZ' earlier in the year, a stellar introduction from a highly distinct group.

Numbering Rami B, Tony Stone and Dumix, the group close the year in confident mood, crafting a video for their club bumper 'Attention'.

A sign of what's to come, 'Attention' is a gripping, addictive piece of music.

KALLITECHNIS

Montreal is a breeding ground for promising talent and KALLITECHNIS is the newest artist that is repping for the city. The songwriter brings powerful R&B that sways from deeply personal and relate-able to upbeat and euphoric.

The Montreal artist's ability to write songs is second nature, as she explains "what makes writing easy is retrieving your feelings and your emotions from within and trying to be as authentic as possible. Making sure that whatever I put out I'm comfortable with and it's a reflection of who I am. I'm conscious that music I put out is going to have an impact on the world and on people. I'm careful with what I write but it's not filtered, it's my own introspection and self-reflection put into lyrics in a way that isn't too preachy."

And preachy her music is not; each track is evidence of her evolution into one of Canada's rising stars. With smooth and sweet vocals that dance on the edge of sultry, KALLITECHNIS music marries vibrant vocals with perfect production and shouldn't be overlooked.

ÁINE

Áine calls it as she sees it. A refreshingly honest voice, the Irish newcomer swept us off our feet matching lyrical bluntness to a softly enticing delivery, one that at times startles in its beauty.

Áine wants to call out “all the bullshit we see day to day on social media. We all do it. People only show an edited version of themselves, the side they think is ‘the best’, but this is the world we are living in. I hate it, but I love it at the same time.”

With new EP out on Parlophone records we are excited to welcome her to the Clash Live stage.

CAT BURNS

Cat Burns caught our attention with her previous single 'Just Us'. Direct laid back grooves, with a silky soulful vocal and candid to the point songwriting.

Hailing from South London and Brit School alumni to boot chalk one up for the home team. Cat's self produced bedroom EP made waves charting independently on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts at number 11.
