Frank Ocean Releases New Album ‘Blonde’

Magazine Boys Don't Cry also on sale...

Frank Ocean has released new album 'Blonde'.

The move follows the surprise release of visual album 'Endless' during the week, with new single 'Nike' following hot on its heels.

If fans felt that 'Endless' was slight, and not quite the record they had been promised, then 'Blonde' certainly matches the preparation.

The record dropped via Apple Music at midnight, and is stylised 'Blond' on the artwork.

Meanwhile, Frank Ocean has released his magazine Boys Don't Cry at selected locations across North America and Europe. It's available in London, and contains a slightly different tracklisting for 'Blonde' – are there two different versions, we wonder?

Finally, the credits for 'Blonde' feature a raft of surprising names. Frank Ocean nabs Andre 3000 for a verse on 'Solo (Surprise)' while lyrics from Elliott Smith's 'A Fond Farewell' and The Beatles' 'Here, There And Everywhere' appear on 'Seigfried' and 'White Ferrari'.

The full list of credits appears in Boys Don't Cry, with both Brian Eno and David Bowie's names mentioned. We look forward to uncovering how they're connected to all this…
