A Spanish musician based in London, PBSR has a tremendous sense of dislocation in his music.
Songwriting that encompasses paranoia, the need for belonging, and the enrichment music can offer, his work has blossomed over the last 12 months.
New EP '...and dusky doors' is incoming, with PBSR sharing new song 'Holding'. He explains:
"'Holding' was the last song I wrote for the EP. It is one of the most intense songs I've ever written, after I struggled to find myself and my mind space in London, and I think the song conveys that fragility. it includes some ambient recording from the Tate, where I spent quite some time during this period."
An emotive, moving, widescreen return, 'Holding' has a real sense of poignancy, a sense that it is struggling to hold itself together.
