Hear the rapper's 'Weatherman' EP here...

When Clash hears something that gets all of its pleasure sensors tingling, we like to shout about it.

So, when said bits got themselves in a dizzy twist on hearing Dream Mclean, we thought: we’ll have us some of that. And that’s what we’ve got for you here: exclusive access to the Essex rapper’s debut EP, ‘Weatherman’.

And who he, exactly? Glad you asked. Dream’s an MC we’ve heard talked about – he’s picked up support from the likes of Mistajam, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe on BBC networks, and got together with producer Johan Hugo (M.I.A., Santigold) to shape his material – but until now hadn’t really connected with. You know. On that level.

So it pleases us to report that ‘Weatherman’ is already pretty much next level. In so much as we can imagine this fellow following in the steps of stateside breakthroughs like A$AP Rocky and Joey Bada$$. Its four tracks can be yours, for free, later this week when Chase & Status’ MTA Records imprint does the release thing. Until then, though, you can stream these beauties until your ears fall off.

Please, don’t listen until your ears fall off. A little warning, too: these songs do contain strong language.

Tracklisting for ‘Weatherman’:

1. ‘Weatherman’
2. ‘Titanic’ (featuring Siris)
3. ‘Take Me Away’ (featuring Bandit Blacks)
4. ‘White Lies’

Dream Mclean (Facebook/Twitter) plays London’s XOYO on May 22nd – the same day that this EP can be downloaded.
