It's about a long-distance relationship...

East London artist Elan Tamara has shared her new single 'My Eyes'.

A musician who has played with some firm Clash favourites - we're looking at you Tirzah - Elan draws on a deep well of aural influence.

New single 'My Eyes' cross references the minimalist simplicity of Indonesian gamelan, while also working as a straight-forward pop song.

Introspective, at times even nostalgia, 'My Eyes' features both Georgia (on percussion), and Kwes on bass and production.

Out now, 'My Eyes' is a moment of real beauty from the Walthamstow artist. Elan comments...

"‘My Eyes’ as a song is about the highs and lows of a long distance relationship, and not being able to spend time with loved ones... musically inspired by Afro Cuban music, Steve Reich, Brian Wilson and Balinese gamelan..."

Tune in now.
