Ecca Vandal, Sampa The Great
It's a female-forward vision of 90s inspired hip-hop...

Melbourne's Ecca Vandal links with Sampa The Great on addictive new cut 'Your Orbit'.

The Australian artist looks back on her roots in 90s hip-hop, ranging from the Beastie Boys work alongside the Dust Brothers to Erykah Badu's iconic neo-soul.

'Your Orbit' re-tools these influences for 2k18, with Ecca sparring alongside fellow Australian newcomer Sampa The Great.

Co-written with Darwin Deez, the intergalactic romp recalls those early OutKast cuts, while steering a defiantly individual path.

Shot in Sydney, the visuals for 'Your Orbit' pick apart the link between the city's corporate behemoths and the underclass living in their shadow.
